Day 1:Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha for Lake Manyara National Park. It’s about a two-hour drive through the bustling market town of Mto Wa Mbu, known for its agricultural produce and souvenirs.

Once you’ve briefly explored the village market, enter Lake Manyara National Park. It’s a photographer’s paradise with exceptional game viewing, including the famous tree-climbing lions often seen resting in acacia trees. Birdwatchers will delight in the diverse birdlife, featuring large flamingo flocks and circling birds of prey.

After your adventure, return to your chosen accommodation for dinner and a well-deserved rest.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the “8th Wonder of the World.”

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to over 120 species of mammals. This destination is highly coveted among safari enthusiasts, offering opportunities to observe and photograph animals in their natural habitat. Here, you can witness the black rhinoceros as it grazes on the plains and observe hippopotamuses enjoying the cool waters.

From the comfort of your open-top vehicle, you’ll capture photographs of some of Africa’s most iconic creatures. The crater houses a substantial population of predators, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas, adding to the excitement of your safari experience. Additionally, the area is teeming with wildebeest, zebras, antelopes, cape buffalo, and more, making it a premier safari destination in Africa.

After a thrilling day, you’ll savor a picnic lunch by the park’s renowned hippo pool. And you’ll make your way back to Arusha.
